Clever Pop is a classroom behaviour management app designed to support positive student engagement through teacher-led rewards and behaviour tracking. We are committed to protecting the privacy of all users, especially children, and ensuring that all personal information is handled responsibly and in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
1. What Information Do We Collect?
Clever Pop collects limited personal information necessary for the app to function effectively in educational settings:
- Student first name only
- Teacher-recorded behaviour notes (e.g. participation, listening, following instructions)
- School and/or class name
- Teacher account information (e.g. email address, login credentials)
- No additional personal details (e.g. student surname, date of birth, home address) are collected.
2. How Do We Use This Information?
The information collected is used exclusively for educational purposes, including to:
- Track student classroom behaviour and engagement
- Support teachers in identifying behavioural trends or needs
- Encourage and reward positive behaviour through Clever Pop
3. Who Can Access the Data?
- Behaviour notes are only accessible to the student and their classroom teacher.
- School administrators may be given access if required for educational oversight.
- Clever Pop staff may access limited data only if needed to provide technical support, and always under strict confidentiality.
4. Data Storage and Security
Clever Pop stores all data securely on servers that meet Australian recognised security standards. Our systems are designed to:
- Prevent unauthorised access
- Use encryption and secure authentication
- Maintain data integrity and confidentiality
5. Disclosure of Personal Information
Clever Pop does not sell, share, or disclose personal information to third parties under any circumstances, except where required by law (e.g. legal obligation or court order).
We do not use data for marketing, advertising, profiling, or analytics unrelated to classroom use.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Data is retained only for as long as necessary to support educational use. Schools and/or parents can request the deletion of a student’s data at any time by contacting Clever Pop at info@cleverpop.com.au.
Upon such request, we will permanently delete the student’s information from our servers within a reasonable timeframe.
7. Consent
We require informed consent from the school and/or parent/guardian before any personal student data is collected. Consent can be withdrawn at any time, and Clever Pop will cease collecting or using the student’s data upon withdrawal.
8. Changes to This Policy
Clever Pop may occasionally update this policy to reflect changes in technology, legislation, or our practices. Any significant updates will be communicated to schools and made available on our website or app.

Welcome to Clever Pop! These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Clever Pop application (“App”) and associated services provided by Clever Pop Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using Clever Pop, you agree to comply with these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use Clever Pop.
1. Purpose of Clever Pop
Clever Pop is a classroom behaviour management app designed for use by schools and teachers to promote positive student behaviour. It allows authorised users (e.g., teachers) to track behaviour, issue rewards, and view patterns to support classroom engagement.
2. Eligibility
Clever Pop is intended for use by:
- Schools and educators, who are authorised to create accounts and input student information.
- Parents/guardians, who may be asked to provide consent.
- Students, whose information is entered and accessed only by authorised educators.
- Users under the age of 18 must have their data entered by or with the consent of a teacher or guardian.
3. Account Responsibility
Schools and teachers are responsible for:
- Ensuring that any personal data entered is accurate and relevant.
- Obtaining necessary parental/guardian consent before using the app with students.
- Keeping login credentials secure and not sharing accounts.
- You must notify Clever Pop immediately if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
4. User Conduct
You agree to:
- Use Clever Pop only for lawful, educational purposes.
- Not misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform.
- Not upload or share inappropriate, offensive, or harmful content.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to any user who violates these Terms.
5. Privacy and Data Use
Your use of Clever Pop is subject to our Privacy Policy.
Student data remains the property of the school or the individual.
We do not sell or share personal data with third parties.
Schools may request data access or deletion at any time.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Clever Pop complies with applicable data protection laws, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
6. Availability and Updates
We aim to provide consistent access to Clever Pop, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may:
- Modify, update, or temporarily suspend access to the App at any time.
Provide software updates to improve functionality or security.
Data is retained only for as long as necessary to support educational use. Schools and/or parents can request the deletion of a student’s data at any time by contacting Clever Pop at info@cleverpop.com.au. - Upon such request, we will permanently delete the student’s information from our servers within a reasonable timeframe.
7. Intellectual Property
Clever Pop and all related materials (including text, graphics, logos, and software) are owned or licensed by Clever Pop Pty Ltd and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, distribute, or use Clever Pop’s content for commercial purposes without written permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
Clever Pop is provided “as is” without any warranties.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid for use of the App (if any).
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Clever Pop at any time if:
- You breach these Terms.
- You use the App in a manner that could harm others or Clever Pop’s reputation.
You may stop using the App at any time. Upon termination, all rights granted to you under these Terms will end.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing this page regularly.
